Welcome to our new blog. We have finally made the decision to bring our trusted Silver Eagle to Cape Town. The general route for the flight has been established and the departure date set to 20th October.

The plan is to depart Hildesheim on Tuesday morning, pick up our friends and co-travellers from Egelsbach and then proceed to Zadar in Croatia for the first overnight stop. The planned travel time is 14 days and if all goes well, we should be landing in Cape Town on Monday, 2nd November. There are a few interesting stops included in the plan including sightseeing in Luxor, Gorilla trekking in Rwanda, Chimpanzee trekking in the Rainforest and game viewing at Lake Kariba.

There is still a lot of preparation to be done and we will keep you posted on how we progress.

  1. Hi! Can't believe it. You're doing it again! We so wish we could be a little mouse in your pocket and join you... Especially now that it's getting colder in good old Germany. We wish you all the very Best for your big adventure and hope you won't encounter any hiccups along the way. Certainly expect a lot of stunning photos and a great blog. :) Fly safely and have a great time. Lots of love from Tatjana, Adi and Christa
